advice

i just shaved my legs today. for passover break (which is at the end of this month)
if i dont shave all month do you think the hair would be long enough for me to wax by the 20th?
if not, how can i make it grow faster?
thanx!

Yeah, it should be long enough. The hair needs to be 1/8-1/4 of an inch long to wax.

I wanted to get lowlights. But do i have to tell the person what color i want? cause i have no idea! Also, I have light skin, will lowlights flush me out? My hairs a light brown, and my eyebrows/eyelashes are JET BLACK. So is this a good idea, seeing as all of my other hair on my face is dark,i should get lowlights? And my hair is like a caramel color,my eyes are Brown. What do you think? Also any cute cuts? I know im getting it just below my sholders, but what else? i really need advice on this. thanks everyone. !

Just tell the stylist that you want lowlights but aren't sure of what color. They'll give you suggestions and point you in the right direction.

I think lowlights will look great. Do you want them to be subtle or bold? Fine, thin ones will give you an overall darker color without it being obvious. Bold, chunky ones will be more noticeable.

Is getting highlights and low lights a good conbination? or should i just get one? and also how much are getting highlights and lowlights [approximatly] and sorry for the bad spelling,i'm rushing and im also tired. have a good night :] . thanks.

I've had lowlights AND highlights put in my hair numerous times. It really depends on what you're going for. Are you trying to go more blond? If so, go for highlights. Are you trying to get your hair a little darker without HAVING to marry your hair and keep up with dying it? Then get lowlights.

It recently cost me about $85 dollars to get my hair highlighted.

I have acne on my face, chest, and back. My dermatoligist told me about Actutane, and I was just wondering if anybody have any information or personal stories about it. Thanks :)

I'm on it right now. I currently take 40 mg. I started out at 20 mg, then my dermatologist increased my dosage to 40 mg.

I do recommend Accutane. However, it does have serious side effects. It can VERY harmful an unborn baby. Therefore, you must not be pregnant or become pregnant while on the drug. It has been linked to depression. Also, it can be damage your liver. It is advised to not drink alcoholic beverages while on Accutane. It has been known to make your cholesterol spike.

You must go to your dermatologist every month. Your blood (A LOT of it) will be drawn monthly. Also, you have to urinate in a cup for a pregnancy test monthly. Your prescription can ONLY be written for a 30-day supply of Accutane.

I warn you, the Ipledge program can be very frustrating. You can be "locked out" of the system for one month if there is an error and you won't be able to get your prescription for thirty days.

The 40mg dosage gives me bad headaches, although it does dry up the oil in my skin. The 20mg doesn't give me the headaches, but it doesn't dry my skin out that well.

out of these 2 magazines

J-14

and

Cosmo Girl

which one should I subscribe to?
I bought both of them, but i'm really not sure which one i like better.

I like magazines that have info on celebritys, quizzes, embarressing moments, and just plain fashion and make-up things. Which one should I get?

or if you have a better magazine, please do tell!

I personally like Cosmo Girl better than J-14. J-14 seems to focus solely on celebrities more than makeup, fashion, embarrassing moments, etc. I also suggest Seventeen. Cosmo Girl and Seventeen are similar. I used to really like YM (Your Magazine), but I never see it on the news stands anymore, so I never get to read it.

ok,well this year im a 32A,first i want to ask,im 4"10, do you think 32A would be regular if im this short? (im 13) alsoo, about bathing suits....are there any bathing suits that enhance less-busty girls so i dont look compleatly akward in a bikini? acutally, what kind of bikini would be best for 32A girls? also where can i buy these? hah thanks...one more,(sorry) is it possible to go up a size within 5 months? thank you!!

32A is normal for your age. You'll continue to grow.
You can buy push-up bikini bathing suits from Victoria's Secret catalogs. You could grow within the next five months, but it's not likely to be very noticeable.

Yesterday I was searching for something on the internet and I accidently found something called colorfix. It's supposed to remove all of the dye from your hair without damaging it (I've been looking forever for something that can remove the color, but won't damage it). It does not have ammonia or any of things to damage your hair. I've had my hair highlighted, highlighted a second time (because my hair had grown out a few inches), then a semi-permanent dye, (when i attempted to go back my natural color) which turned my hair green and black, and i got it dyed again now i have red hair. My hair is not damaged at all and I have no clue how, but it's not. My natural color is brown, though, and i love it. I want it back so much. Has anyone ever heard of colorfix or tried it? If so, does it work good?

Highlighting (using bleach) permanently lifts the color out of your hair. You can never remove the bleach.
Plus, when you go to remove the color, it can be removed unevenly, causing uneven color. Even if you do strip all of the color out, it rarely comes out a pretty enough color to leave without dying it.

hi :]
16/f
well me and my mom were talking yesterday and shes like i think i might know something else to get you for christmas! and im like what? and shes like have you ever heard of the CHI straightener? and im like yea the one that costs like $200. i heard its suppose to be good but for anyone that uses it does it really work good or what because i will feel bad to have her like spend so much and have me not like it!! well thank you.

I love my CHI straightner. I have a 1" straighter, but they are avaliable in 2" plates. I have a lot of poofyness/frizzyness/wavyness in my hair before I straighten it. Afterwards, it's so soft and smooth.

out of chi sedu and solia which hair straightener is the best? I currently have a straightener i love but i want one that will make my hair even straighter and not damage it as much. also for how much i am paying i want one that will last me atleast a year

Hi. I've got a CHI straightener that I've had for a year. I love it. I'm not sure how much mine cost since I got it for a present, but your hairstylist can usually get you a good deal.
