I'm Skylar! Im good with all the teen advice things like friends, and fashion, and everything around there.
I didnt go to harvard. I didnt paint the monalisa(i didnt even spell that right...). I wont be a valedictorian and I've never saved a life. But i understand things... I see how they work. I'm a deep thinker, ill ponder things alot. Mostly people, and life and all the phillisophical types of things...
But im more than just that. I'm a teenage girl. A student. A friend. A lover. An athlete. A writer. A party girl and someones who wants to give advice and help others.

:)

Definatly go for a high waisted skirt, the flowy kind though, not skin tight. Any shade or print is fine.
Here is one example...

This outfit is adorable. And casual, yet dressy. Make sure that the you match a tight tank top or shirt to put underneath the skirt. Finish off the look with some ballet flats.

Here are some more high waisted skirts, aybe you'll like one of them:

Hope you Look good!

I was recently at a hair salon getting my hair highlighted, and the stylist who did my hair told me I have the wrong kind of haircut. She said I have a thick layered hairstyle, when what I really need is a thin layered hairstyle. What does this mean? Is there really a difference in layers for thick hair and thin hair?

Thank you! (link)
Well for starters, i have very thin hair. So i get long think layers, and it gives me more volume.

Thin layers are meant to thin out hair, and make it easier to contain. Thick layers are to thicken up.

Its not an exterem difference though, its just from how the stylist aims to cuts your hair.

Thick layers are layers closer together, giving the impressions of a full thick head of hair...while thin layers are more spread apart, so the cut is more dramatic

ok , so im gonna be a freshman and I wanted to be a princess the night of homecoming. But my mom gave me a 75 dollar budget!! i dont know how to find the dress I want for the ridiculously low amount. I really just need to know where to get a dress that will make me loook uh.ma.zing without going over 75 dollars. (link)
Homecomnig is only semi formal, so you probably wont even need the entire 75!

Great places to look would be : Macys, Marshalls, Forever 21, Nordstorms, Urban Behavior, JC Penny, Khols...

Or order something online, the perfect websit for you would be this one : http://www.promgirl.com/shop/promdresses-by-price
Ignore the fact that it says Promgirl, just go and at least browse. Definatly go to the category of homecoming dress, then click under 100. There are many adorable dresses under $75!

Happy Hunting!
