I give my friends a lot of advice on a variety of different things and while I'm at work, I tend to be quite bored and don't have much to do so I was surfing the net and found this site and thought it might be interesting. I've been through a lot...so I think I can help some people out...

What are the physical advantages of having medium/dark brown? Do you think that it brings out features such as your eyes, skin, etc? (link)
In my opinion having medium/dark brown hair is such a great advantage. Without make up and some work I can look pretty average, well like the typical brown haired brown eyed American girl that I am. However, with a little make up you can give yourself a more exotic look. It helps a bit if you're a little tan too, but I'm usually pretty fair skinned and still can work it up. The point of creating a more exotic look is to make you stand out more and look different from the rest. Most people are attracted to what is different and unique (and pleasing to the eyes as well of course). Right now, well for a while now, Indian (as in from India) and middle Eastern looks are popular. Clothing, jewelry, etc. and this look is amazing on brunettes. Lots of color and beading. Clothing and accesories are so important to accent your makeup. (Sorry I'm rambling). Anyways...I'd suggest highlighting your eyes. Not with bright colors, but rather dark. A nice dark eyeliner and dark eye shadows (with a light shade brushed just below your arch in your eye brow, that will make a nice contrast between your dark eyebrows and your dark eyes). With dark hair it is also key to keep your eye brows nice and neat, since any stray hair shows. Back to what I was saying about clothing and such, some nice big colorful earrings...Chandeliers styles are gorgeous, will complete the look. This of course is pretty much a look for a special occasion/evening out, although you can tone it down for the day. To sum it up...dark liner around the eyes to make them stand out, if you have nice almond shaped eyes accent the curves of your eyes...and keep your eyebrow nice and neat, also I find after applying eyeshadow, use your mascara (Very important to use mascara. Sometimes just a little foundation, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss is enough) and gently and carefully brush your eyebrows to the proper position. Not only will that hold them in place, but it will make them a little darker...if your hair is lighter brown, do NOT use a black mascara, get mascara to match your hair color. I hope I was of some help. take care.

Ok my hair just always feels so... i dont know like not as nice. Like everyone elses hair is so shiny and like reflects the sunlight. Its just so silky. Mine just feels more yucky i guess. Mine isnt like that. ugh. DOes anyone have any good suggestions like good conditioners or anything? THANKS SOOO MUCH!! I really need help! Ps. I take a shower every day if that helps (link)
I've tried just about every shampoo and conditioner out there. PAntene Pro V is one that I've never had a problem with and consistently will make my hair at least tolerable. Garnier, Herbal essences and basically anything else makes my hair greasy. If your hair is dull, then you need a good moisturizing shampoo, most brands have different types e.g. moisturizing, volumnizing, etc. Everyone's hair is different, so in all odds you should try a few, you can always get sample travel size bottles from most stores to try a few. Personally I like Brilliant Brunette, which is amazing and makes my hair nice and shiny and I get the volume enhancing one to give it a little more bounce. They also have Sheer Blonde and one for Redheads as well. It makes the color of you hair better and I've been using it for a while had no problems, usually I use a shampoo for a month or two and then have to get a new one. If your hair is sort of greasy or just doesn't feel clean, which would make it dull as well, get a clarifying shampoo, Neutrogena has a good one, this will clean any residue off of your hair. If your hair is just really dry, then VO5 Hot oil treatment is the best bet. HOpe I was of some help. Take care!!!

i'm somewhat flat chested, but i have great legs. how can i take all the notice off my chest (or lack thereof) and refocus it on my legs without being thought of as a skank? (link)
Try wearing skirts that draw the attention down. For example pair a dark shirt with a bright colored skirt. For a top, I always thing think that a wrap around shirt, one that crosses in the front is flattering for smaller chested women. If you're young then for skirts you can probably pull off those little short skirts that all the girls are wearing, personally I think they're too short, but they will show off your legs and grab all the attention there. If you decide to wear a dress look for one that has some detail towards the bottom, same thing with a skirt, that way people's eyes will be drawn down. However, I wouldn't be so self conscious about your chest. having a small chest really isnn't that bad of a thing. You can fit into a lot of cute things that other women can't and you can always wear a bra with a little bit of padding. For us well endowed women, things are a little more difficult. :) Don't try to take all the attention off your chest, otherwise no one else will look up and see your face either. I hope I was of some help. Take care.
