Hi, I'm Karlie, and I love to give advice. I currently work for lots of other advice sites, and I'm having a great time doing so. I've been through alot in life, (and, no, im not lying about this) more than normal teenagers have. PLEASE feel free to ask me a question to my inbox. When I see a question in there, I get excited that someone wants my help. I'll never reject any at all. And also, when I leave advice I'd appreaciate feedback more than a "thanks". cause I'd like to know if I helped you or not.
thankyou =]

I have dark brown long hair. Olive skinned. Skinny with curves. I need some fashion tips. What colors would.. well.. compliment my skin and such? What type of dresses, shirts would make my curves stand out? I've been hiding behind baggy clothing because I'm out of the fashion loop. I've been told to stay away from black and brown though.

Any websites? No expensive stores like abercrombie/fitch stuff..
(link)
- American Eagle (ae.com)
- Hollister (hollisterco.com)
- Aeropostale (aeropostale.com)
Those are some stores I would recomend for you. They have really super cute clothes that are always in style. The 1st 2 are a little bit on the expensive side (not as expensive as A&F tho) but they have great sale racks and such. Aeropostale is cheaper, but also really cute.
You should wear bright colors and/or pale colors like a light pink or yellow. Bright colors will stand out on your olive skin, and light colors will soften you up. Your lucky u have olive skin to wear light colors, im very pale so I can't! Shirts that will show off your curves? Anything tight, or a shirt with an elastic strap or tie right below your bust. I can also recomend more storse, but i dont know the website.
- Forever 21
- Buckle
- Maurice's
hope i helped =]

I have very curly hair. I jus started wearing it big n cute like Beyonce! Hahaha... but every time I get out of the shower its so TANGLED. I comb it out and I notice my hair comes out. Only a little bit used to, but now I see whole strands coming out! My routine with the hair is comb it out, gel & hairspray. What can I put in my hair to make less "tangly?" AND prevent it from breaking off? (link)
After shampooing your hair in the shower, put lots of conditioner in it, but make sure you dont apply it to your WHOLE head (like up by your part) just the hair that hangs down, if you know what i mean. Try taking a wide-toothed comb in the shower, and after you put the conditioner in comb through it once or twice. After you get out, dont put it up in a towel, if u do that. Then just spray detangler spray in your hair. You can find this anywhere, and basically all hair product lines will have it.
hope i help =]

I have dark brown curly hair, I love it straight but my hair is getting fried and has so many split ends and I'm losing some of my hair any good ways to restore it? Also, I want to dye my hair blonde but I don't want to fry it again, any dyes that work good on curly hair? (link)
Well, for 1, don't dye it until your hair is healthy and "not-fried". Dying it will only make it worse.

For the being fried part, stop using your straightning iron for a while. You might be unhappy with the curl, but you have to let it recover before you use anymore heat on it. Wash it with a shampoo that is specially for damaged hair. You can find this kind of shampoo anywhere, any store.

Also, Tresemme has a line of hair cair products that work with heat and also protect against the damage that can be caused by the heat. It's like a spray or mouse or something you put in your hair before you straighten it.

hope i helped, sorry for the long answer

does anyone know of any ways
to get involved with acting or modeling? (link)
depending on how old you are, it's easy to get into acting, like at local theatres and theatre groups, for instance. I used to act with an orginazation for kids 8-18. Your community will usually have something like this.

As far as modeling goes, if your talking about "runway" type modeling, there are modeling companies that will have lots of profiles of different models, and when a designer needs a specific looking model, the company would give the designer her picture and he would contact her. These modeling companies are in New York, Beverly Hills, LA, and places like that.

If your just talking about magazing modeling, like for JC Penney, you can just go to the store and ask for information on where you can apply.

please excuse the poor picture taking skills.
lol.

what would look best on me and how can i do it? (link)
ok, first off, one thing that always makes me feel better is using light foundation on my face just to make the skintone look even and flawless. The first time I tried foundation, i was nervous, but its actually pretty easy. Just get a foundation (I use covergirl Clean Makeup foundation) that matches your skintone, and dab little dots of it on your face. Then, take a cosmetic sponge (those triangular sponges) and rub the dots in. If you put it on correctly it look like your not wearing any at all! Finish it by taking a un-used blush brush and brush powder over your face to help the foundation stay.

For your eyes, it looks like you have beautiful blue eyes, and i have blue too so I'll tell you what I do. I put on black eyeliner under my eyes, on the inner lid. It's really easy, and theres not that much room for messing up because its a thin line on your inner lid. Then, I put a thin line of black on my upper lids just to give my eyes definition. This one is a bit harder, becuase when you put it on you have to make sure that your drawing the line basically touching the eyelashes. Then, I lightly put on silver shadow becuase blue eyes have gray undertones, so silver will really make them pop. Last, I put Define a Lash (by maybelinne...i think) mascara on.

It may seem like alot of makeup, but I make sure when I put it on it's very subtle, so you can hardly tell. You can also put on nude lipgloss and blush if you like, but I barely do.

As for your hair, It seems like you have the right idea. I would suggest getting your hair layerd, but the length right now is good. Also, get your hair "angled", this will give your face character. Lastly, you can get some wispy bangs (not huge bangs across your forhead) just wispy ones. That makes a big difference.

Well, I hope I helped. I know this is a really long answer, and if my advice doesent help im sorry. ask me if you need anything else =]

(link)

so, if youd like, message me and i can deffinantly help =]

how do you get your bangs to stay to the side like this i cant do it errrrrrr

Hi! I have bangs like that, but not as thick as her, so I pretty much no what your talking about. What I do, is after I take a shower when my hair is still wet, I brush my bangs straight down in front of my face, and then start blow drying the bangs in one direction, so when they dry, they will stay on your forhead, but go down to the right (or left) like the girl in the pic.
If that doesent work, you could always take that pic to your hair stylist and she can give you a cut like that.
Hope I Helped =]

Hi i'm 15/f. I know this sounds weird, but I never feel girly. I just wear like loose fitting t-shirts and jeans everyday, with my hair in a pony tail. I never wear anything different. I mean, I like girly shirts and cute outfits, but for some reason the way they fit I just can't stand how tight they are. Im not fat or anything they are just so uncomforable. Same with my hair, I just wear it in a ponytail everyday because wearing my hair down just annoys the LIFE out of me. I mean, I know I should just be myself, but do you know why these things bother me so much? What can I do to get used to them? (link)
I know how you feel. It can definatly be difficult sometimes. But, you have to realize that the more cute and good you look, the more confident you'll be in yourself. Start slowly. Maybe once a week wear a tight outfit with your hair down. When you start getting used to it, gradually start adding on more and more days until your completely fine. Hope i helped =]

what are some cute hair ideas for going out to dinner? (link)
It depends on what kind of resturant. If it's something more upscale, try dabbing some styiling creme through your hair, then put it up with large velcro curlers. It will give you some bounce at the ends. If the resturant is more low-scalse, wet your hair, then divide into six sections. With a large round brush, roll each section of hair up with it and blow dry. This creates a cute bu tosseld look. Hope I could help! -Karlie
