i dont know where you live so im not sure if you have this store, but theres a place called platos closet. its kind of like a thrift store, people bring in clothes and if they're nice they get money in return. they have all the brand name clothes, i got a pair of abercrombie and american eagle jeans there for like $10. its not like a goodwill, it has tons of stylish stuff, and TONS of cute shoes too! and very cheap. if you dont have a store like that anywhere near you, im sorry im not much help!

Q: I want more than anything to design clothes. I'm fed up with having to pick from designs of other designers instead of being able to wear the styles that I think about. I live in Rhode Island. I have NO experience with anything pertaining to fashion. I can't sew, knit, or do any other skill along those lines. Can someone please help me get my desire to be a clothes designer off the ground? I'm very interested in taking classes anywhere in Rhode Island. If anyone knows of any, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I'm not sure what is in Rhose Island, and since you did not include your ago I'm not sure..but if your in high school, you probably have fashion classes or something. College.. take some fashion classes. If you are out of school, the best I can say is to look online or in phone books for places that do sewing and knitting lessons. I know there are some, pretty much everywhere they have some, just not exactly sure where or how much it would be. That's all i can think of to do =]

Q: my sister really needs to find a new hairstyle, but i dont know what to suggest, she has long dark brown hair, like to her butt long, its naturally straight, and shes got this cute heart shaped face, does anyone have any suggestions?!?

i think this is perfect for dark hair and a heart shaped face.. cutting it to a little below the shoulders and then getting side bangs. it looks super cute if you curl the ends in too! :]

Q: So I'm thinking of getting colored contacts, but I have two questions!
1) How much more expensive are they then normal ones?
2) What color should I get?
I have really dark brown eyes, & dark brown hair,
I'm thinking of maybe some greens? or lighter browns?
Any opinions?

I just got colored contacts about a month ago. I'm not sure how much more they are, but I don't think it is a lot more. I have dark hair and dark eyes too, and i have blue contacts. Actually the color is called 'topaz'. They look kind of freaky and just like different but after awhile you get really used to them. I love them and all the time I get complements about how pretty my eyes are. Some people actually think they look real. They do stand out, but if you don't want them that obvious, I think hazel would be pretty or like a light honey brown! At my eye place they let me try on a few colors to see which one I liked the most. You could ask if they would let you do that too! That's just my opinion but I think you should pick if you want something natural like most eye colors, or something a little different =]

Hey I'm Andrea, aka Dre or Angie. I'm 19 and livin in beautiful Colorado! I went to cosmetology school and am in the process of a fashion merchandising degree in college. I am a waitress part time during the school year at a bowling alley/ restaurant & bar, and then a bartender on Saturday nights in the summer at a family owned racetrack.
