This morning my grandma passed away. The news pretty much made me cry for hours, and right now I still feel a bit distraught.
But last night, I had a dream about her, where I was visiting her at the nursing home (where she lives) and she was alive, happy, and glad to see me. We were surrounded by a big room filled with lights and it was just white. She was wearing brightly-colored clothing, and all she did was smile at me.
When I woke up this morning from that dream, I found out she passed away.
As a christian, I deeply believe that was God telling me that she is happy where she is right now (in heaven), and smiling down on me, feeling happy she is at peace.
Do you think God was really trying to give me a sign? Or is it coincidence? (link)

..i ABSOLUTELY believe that God was giving you that sign.. as to not worry, an actual sign from both Him, and your grandmother.. that she truly is, not only okay, but HAPPY. that is a wonderful, wonderful thing to experience...you must have been one heck of a grandaughter, and child of God, for them both to take the time to do that for you!!!!
MY PRAYERS TO YOU.

I have a question:
You know how if you are living in sin you need to go before God and ask for forgiveness? What if you do something wrong, for example, I kick friend's dog. If no one witnesses or knows and I go before God and repent, say I am truly sorry and receive forgiveness. What if a year later my sister asks me, "have you ever kicked your friend's dog?" Am I obligated to tell the world my truths? I know this is a silly example but what about sins that are more serious... you know? Say I was married and I had an affair? Or if someone had an abortion. I know those are more extremes but are we obligated to be honest about sins of the past? If we are no longer in sin what is are obligation? Shouldn't it be between God and each of us? OR are we obligated to be open with the world of our sins.

in my belief, i would say that yes, if someone straight-up asks you if you have done a certain sin in the past, whether or not you are saved by forgivness, then yes, if you are truly saved, you should be able to admitt it, and account for it, by simply saying, "yes, that was a part of my life, but i admitted and asked for forgivness, i am forgiven, have learned from it, and no not plan on reliving that sinful part of me again."
simple as that! however, if you DO feel extremely uncomfortable, depending on who may ask you, then sure, God will understand if you do not want to re-open that wound with another human being, and prefere to do it only, if ever, with God himself.

I need some new quotes about my Grandpa passing away ... I was very close to him. I want to put it in my AIM profile, so something cute, but not something that's hard to comprehend [like Emily Dickinson, for example]..
I've tried Google, but I didn't really find much..
Thanks. (link)
