I'm 14 years old and am from Archer City, Texas. I play football, baseball, basketball, and track. I'm a pretty average kid who does normal stuff. There's more info about me at MySpace.

my friend is looking to buy a "riddell" protective padding piece for football. it is in the shape of a cresent moon.. what is it for? (link)
Well, the earpiece in the helmets are in that shape. But I could also see how a cup is kind of shaped like that. It's probably one of those two.

im just starting cross country...i used to run just for fun but no matter how good of condition i was in i can never keep my breathing normal. i constantly have to keep fighting to get enough air. how can i change this?? thanks in advanced..

i'll rate 5s (link)
Just keep trying it. If you run hard enough and often enough, your body will eventually adjust and let you get the amount of air you need. If you do this and it doesn't improve, you should probably see a doctor or something to see if you have an actual breathing problem. Also, my coach at school once told me to breathe in for two strides and breathe out for two strides. I don't know if that helps any, but it works for me. Other than that, just keep trying.
