Ok so my parents left town for the weekend and im here with my college cousin. My mom told me not to go to this one guys house but hes having a huge party this weekend. I really want to go but ims cared to death that my mom will find out or something bad will happen and then im screwed for the rest of highschool. should i go or not go?
if your mom specifically said not to go to his house, then it would be very easy for her to find out if you did. and she probably will have it in mind to check when she comes home. It's a test. Pass this one (by not going) and in the future she will trust you to make your own decisions.
Ton's of parties await you senior year, after highschool and don't forget at college-all of which she will not mind if you go to, because by then you will her complete trust to do the right thing.
