ok, at my dads house my brother and sister constantly make fun of me. last night they kept calling me a pig, and a special ed. and they will pysically abuse me sometimes. and they call me "g" casue i listen to rap music. and they like sing a song about me eating all the time. they are really mean. and i don't do anthing to them, and i tell my dad and he sazys either, i start it or get over it, or say something back, but when i say something back he says i start it!! what do i do?? please help!
first of all i would like to say i am so sorry. no one deserves to go through that even if they did bring it upon themselves (im not saying that you did) my brother and dad make fun of me alot too.. theyve never physicaly hurt me but they have emotionally. i used to hold it in. everytime i went to bed i would cry and if someone saw me i would say my eyes were watering. lately though ive learned to fight the fire with fire. i know its not a very mature thing to do but it works. everytime brandon (my brother) tries to make fun of me i just make fun of him. the reason people do these things is to feel better about themselves. if you cry you are only giving them what they want you need to fight back. it takes practice but when you are a flaming bitch back to them they'll get threatened and step down. eventually you'll need to confront them and say "look im sorry.. you guys hurt me so bad and i wanted to show you how it feels" and them simply ask them to stop. it sounds weird but it really has worked for me. my dad and brother never make fun of me anymore. if they ever do again i will just be an ass right back to them. oh but never say "yeah well.." before starting a come back. trust me that gives them more reasons to make fun of you. i tired that too..ok well i hope i helped. my email is TicketToRide@rock.com if you ever want to talk about anything else. keep me posted and tell me how everything goes. hope to hear from you soon.
