I eat 3-5 small meals a day. Is that bad for me or better than eating 3 large meals? (link)
thats perfect its exactly what i do. Eating every 2-3 hours allows your body to digest your food and your metabalism works harder because it has to break down the food quicker, so it definatly raises your metabolism..it also makes you less hungry bc as soon as your body starts craving food, you feed it so it doesnt have to "eat" your muscles away in order to gain nutrients. Make sure your meals are small though and full of protein and fiber


My name is Alex and im a 16year old female. i weigh 130 pounds and stll have my baby fat on my stomach.
Every since grade school i have been called fat by my peers and even my parents have called me fat and told me i needed to lose weight. Even though i know eating disorders are bad they haunt my mind. I think about not eating everyday .. i try and throw up my found after i eat but never do instead i break down and cry. Even if i think about not eating and throwing up does that mean i have eating disorder and if so how can i stop. (link)
You dont have an eating disorder..yet but this is how it starts..this is how it started with me..DONT LET IT GET AHEAD OF YOU!! You need to lose weight the healthy way. Diet and Exercise is the ONLY way to do it..youde seriously be amazed at how much working out helps. If you want to lose weight around your stomach, try cardio such as running and doing ab workouts (there are many great videos out there aimed directly at the ab muscles) As for dieting, you dont have to starve yourself to lose weight. Eat 6 small meals a day and workout and I promise youll see results. Dont put negative thoughts about starving yourself/throwing up bc i promise you (i speak from experience) it's a horrible life to live and in the end, you will not keep off the weight you lose.

hey, i am 5'7'' and 125 lbs.
i know im not overweight i just want to look more toned in my abs, lower stomach and thighs. maybe loose a few pounds like 5. but i don't wanna go on a major diet. im willing to go on a mild diet for a little while but not like ATKINS! also i do crunches but what are some other good exersizes to help me look more toned. thanks so much in advance! You have to do cardio because doing ab workouts alone will not do the tricks..running is the best way to do it! Also, pilates for abs REALLY works...my mom and i have done them both and its amazing. Also try to cut down ur fat intake bc some people tend to store fat in their stomach area.


I'm about 5'5
and I weigh about 145-147 pounds.
Im not THAT fat[im muscular] but I do eat alot, but i eat alot of healthy things.
And I know how to loose weight but I always end up eating to much and then feeling guilty about it.
When I Do follow a good eating habit , I would eat a peanut butter and bananas and slim fast for breakfast, yogurt pretzels and raisins for lunch, broccoli and chicken for dinner, then yogurt and apples for snack.
How much weight would I be able to loose a week by that>?

Okay honestly the best thing to do is exercise...just eating healthy is going to help, but it does not shed pounds the way exercising does. When you work out, you build muscle..that muscle "eats" the extra far you have, so even though you might "gain" a few lbs because youve gained muscle mass, you will lose inches. Honestly, Ive tried EVERY diet plan there is and nothing works as good as exercising. If youre really not into exercising, I think weight watchers is the best diet to do because you dont starve yourself and it's pretty easy to follow..if you need more help let me know :)
