My daughter is almost 5 and she has a hard time entertaining herself so I can get dressed for the day or do work around the house. She has a lot of toys but rarely plays with most of them and wants to either watch t.v. or follow us around. It drives me crazy and my husband too, because she comes in our room when we tell her not to. I've threatened to throw out her toys, but it does no good. When we get angry she just laughs at us. We tried closing her up in her room but she just pounds on the door and screams that she is scared. We are expecting another child and we are afraid her behaivior is going to just get worse when the baby comes. She does not behave like this for other family that watches her. Anyone got any advice? Preferably parents who can relate to this situation and have some solutions please. (link)

i say u get her a therapist cuz 2 me it sounds like shes very spoiled n wants alot of attention n wth a new baby commin that will be very hard 2 give so seriously look into getting her a therapist

just be there 4 her no matter wat bcuz there will be times when she will just need a shoulder 2 cry... n do not judge her 4 this bcuz chances r she prob. already feels bad enough
