Is it true that you can only get pregnant when you're on your period? Considering, that your eggs release when your on your period and I've heard that you can only get pregnant when they release so does that mean that if you have sex on your period and the guy "busts" in you, that you have a better chance of getting pregnant than any other time of the month? This is very false, You can get pregnant at anytime sperm comes in contact with your vagina.

At how many months can a doctor tell the sex of a baby? Also at how many months do women normally start to show? An answer to those or a timeline for pregnancy would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! (link)

I'm almost 23 weeks pregnant at the moment, so I have a little idea on this.
I still have not found out the babys sex, My doctor won't do another ultrasound
on me until I'm 27 weeks, for reasons I'm not sure of.. It really makes me mad.
Because women find out anywhere from 16 weeks & up what they're having.
They tried to see if they could tell what it was when I was sixteen weeks & two days,
But the babys legs we're crossed. But when I was just eleven weeks & four days, They
thought they seen something between it's legs, So I've been going by that ever since.
I've bought all boy things, Stupid.. I know. =D
I started showing really early, Just because before I got pregnant.. I only weighed 94
pounds & now I'm up to 113. I just recently lost 3 pounds though, I weighed 116 about
two weeks ago.

I had an ultrasound image taken of my baby at about 13 weeks. Immediately after the picture was taken, I could see on the screen my baby flailing his arms and legs; and generally moving about in my womb. Did the picture taking impact upon him at all? I mean, did he know / feel the machine taking his picture? I am worried it might affect him adversely. (link)

& As far as I know, Ultrasounds do not hurt the baby
one bit.
I don't know if the baby can feel them, & neither does anyone else, since we're not the baby.
Everytime I get an ultrasound, the baby is so hyper & always kicking/punching.
I know getting to many ultrasounds can be bad, because the radiation from them.

My boyfriend and I have been trying to have a baby for over a year now. I haven't been on birth control in over a year and he never wears a condom but still, nothing! I'm just wondering for all you mothers out there, is there something we are doing wrong? I've heard you can only get pregnant when an egg releases and that they only release on your period. Does that mean that if we have sex on my period, I'll get pregnant? I don't smoke or drink or anything harmful. I've talked to doctors, but they just gave me vitamins to take. i know you can bleed while your pregnant in the first trimester but say you don't know your pregnant and you have a 3 day period...is your period still considered late? could you get a positive reading on your pregnancy test?

im almost POSITIVE im pregnant.
i have nausea all the time....and other pregnant symptoms
but i got my "period" sunday may 25 and it ended today, wednesday may 28...i was originally supposed to get it tuesday may 27.
usually my periods last 5-7 days and on the 3rd day its VERY HEAVY ...not light or gone like it is now.
should i still take a pregnancy test?
my boyfriend bought some and he wants me to take it with him....i don't want to take it though and it say im not and then i feel stupid because i kept telling him all my nausea and headache episodes....
then when i really am he wont believe me because he will just say "remember what happened last time"
and i don't want to that to happen...what should i do? what if i am pregnant..should i get the bleeding checked out immediately or just get regular checkups as if it was a normal implantation bleeding? (link)

Your not suppose to get periods while your pregnant, I had a three day period then I became pregnant according to when doctors claimed I got pregnant, I'm 22 weeks right now.
I think you should take a pregnancy test.
Well, If your really not pregnant.. He's going to find out eventually your not anyways, So just take it with him.
If it's confirmed you are pregnant, Go straight to the emergency room for a quick check up, just so they can make everythings great.
I woke up one morning when I was eight weeks & 2 days pregnant, bleeding brown blood, so i went straight to the emergency room, they took my blood & confirmed i was pregnant & i got to see my first ultrasound, it was amazing :)

I thought for sure my grandparents would go crazy once I told them
I was pregnant, They we're defiantly disappointed at first but No one can
stay mad forever, Let them know as soon as possible.

* I've known of people having periods when they're pregnant, I wouldn't say
it's normal. I'd let the doctor know your having your period. Bleeding is also a sign
of miscarriage, Keep that in mind. I bled when I was like two months pregnant, It was old blood.
But I still rushed to the emergency room just to make sure everythings okay, Go check on that baby.

okay so im 15....

yes i know i am very young to be pregnant.
i will be 16 in 2 months.
so please dont write about how im too young and blah blah blah...i already know....dont need to hear it more. thank you.
anyways....today i was on the laptop and my dad was next to me and i was looking at abortion pictures and saying how horrible it was. and my dad was like so if you got pregnant you would keep it? and i said YES I COULD NEVER KILL A BABY! and then we had this whole argument on how its not a baby at a certain amount of weeks and whatever...so i showed him an article on how they get nerves at 4 weeks so they do feel it and he was like I DONT CARE ID DRAG YOU DOWN TO THE CLINC AND MAKE YOU GET ONE! i just kept saying you cant make me..
REMEMBER....HE DOES NOT KNOW IM PREGNANT!
also when he found out my mom was pregnant with my little brother he yelled and screamed at her and dropped her off at the clinc..she sat there for HOURS crying...finally went in but they said she was too far along to get one...thank god.
so my dad is capable of having the heart to leave me at a clinc.
how do i tell him im pregnant without going through that? im keeping the baby, im still with the father and he is staying with me so i have help.
when i tell my dad should i immediately tell him abortion is out of the question?
can he really force me into an abortion? thats my right though isnt it? its not like since im under 18 he could make it get it by law right?
either way i need to tell him soon because i want this baby to be healthy so regular checkups to the OBGYN and getting put on healthy stuff is needed asap.

hurt that innocent baby on the screen, Thats how I felt anyways.
Pregnancy is defiantly not a beautiful thing since I'm half way through
it, I'm looking forward to not being pregnant anymore.
Having an abortion would be very immature & cruel.
Your dad can not make you get an abortion, It is your body &
you made this child. I'm glad you have not considered abortion
Because most women who do get them, regret them horribly
later on in life.

im having a party tomorrow.. im not sure if im pregnant lets say theres a good chance.. um if i was i would only be 1 week ha because i had sex last sunday and tomorrows sunday.. is it ok if i drink? i dont even no 100% if i am or not.. but if i was it would only be a week so could that harm it if i did (link)

I wouldn't advise you to drink,
I drunk the first couple of weeks of my pregnancy because I didn't know
I was pregnant at the time, I stopped as soon as possible. You may not
be pregnant though, & Theres no way of really telling. Maybe you should
go & get a blood test just to be sure.

I just had my second baby he's 3 months, my oldest 16 months.
