well, about a year ago, i got hit by a car and broke my thigh bone, the doctor put two screws in it.. recently, the doctor told me i had to go into day sergery to get them out, i asked what it was, i he sed that you had to be awake throughout the whole entire thing! i got so scared... should i go though it, cuz he sed i have a choice, does it hurt alot?? help! I have had surgery while I was awake, and the answer is no. You may be awake, but they still use a injection that numbs the area. Just as when they drill a tooth. And you dont see whats going on. (just a random add in)
