My boyfriend and I have been dating 3 months. We both have decided that we're not going to throw around the word 'love'. Seeing as most 14 year old couples do. So this is what we do..
When we do say i love you, we agreed we should only say it when we feel the moment is suitable, but we both know that when we say it we mean 'like is too small of a word, but love might be too strong of a word'
Other times we just say like 'I like you a whole lot', but we both know it's not just a normal 'crush' kinda of like.
Do you understand what I mean?
Does anyone think this is a stupid way of going about things?
NO i do not think it is a stupid way of puting your relationship. It seems like you two have very strong feelings for eachother but not strong enough to use the word love,only at appropreate times . I deffinatley get it. You guys handle your relationship very well. Hope it goes well between you two . Don't feel like you need to be like most normal 14 year old couples.
