ok yesterday me and my freind met a couple of girls at our skatepark we go to alot, now then... its pretty obvious my mate fancies one of them and i dont mind but the thing is were both 16 and theyre both 12 and i am pretty concious about age but the one my freind fancies is also my type as well how do i stop myself liking her because i can see this happening quite easily i normally dont go for people i just met i like to get to know them over about a year. but yeh any tips would be muchly greatly awesomely appriciated. well i do understand where the girl below me is coming from but also its only four years just see how she feels about you also talk to your friend.i mean if you both like each other age shouldnt matter.also explain to her you would like to get to know her first before you goin any further and if you guys do decide to date just talk to her parents and see how they feel

So my crush is also my best guy friend and we hang out a lot.
Well he is a very big people person and he has a lot of friends who are girls.
When we hang out alone, he is amazing.
But when he sees his friends who are girls while we're hanging out he gives them hugs and stuff and i don't know if i should introduce myself or what because i'm not very social.
He never hugs me and i've never hugged him because i'm afraid it would be awkward.
And i feel like he likes other girls instead of me.

well i kinda know where you are coming from im in a sitution kinda the same.you should just introduce yourself it wont hurt its not like you guys have to become bffs.Also just hug him it might be akward at first but after a while it wont and just let him know how you feel it will be akward and if that would be too akward have a friend tell him.because you never know if he may like you back and if he dont like you just explain to him you understand but would still like to be friends
