im recently single and my friends keep trying to get me with my best friend who already has a girlfriend. me and him are close enough to talk about anything in the world but friends try so hard to the point its not funny any more we used to joke and hed hold me as they freakout. he trusts me that i like him and his gf together, their perfect. i cant convince my friends to stop how do i? their mind is set, but so is mine as im not gonna be with him him and his girl are amazing together. im proud of him

There is really no way that you can stop your friends from saying stuff like that. I would know I have tried before... You either just have to except what your friends are saying about the two of you and put up with it... or you can tell them that they need to stop they are making it hard for you and your guy friend to be around each other... I imagine that it is pretty awkward for you to be around him when they do this.. So don't be afraid to tell hem how you feel. If they don't stop after that then apparently they aren't really true friends...
