Talk about random stuff.....say like OW I just ran into the door....even tho you didn't , he will laugh about it, as long as you laugh to and not take it to seriously. Also if theres nothing to talk about say oh I have to eat dinner or I have to take a shower or my phone is about to die, I'll call you later. Good Luck.

what i would do if i were you.
is one morning on the train.
just go over to him&be like.
"hey,dont you go to my school?"
&then that would get a conversation started up.
&then like when he answer&all tell him yr name.
&all like that.
then get to know him some more.
&when you do get to know him a lot.
like realy good.
ask to hang out sometime.

If your friends leave your cuz you go out with a "not so hot" boy then there not your real friends...... your real friends would stick with you. and i went out with a "not so hot" boy once and people didn't care........ so do what you want if you like him then go for it.

Well there's this guy I like and me and him talk alot, which I know is good and everything, but know we've talked so much there isn't too much to talk about anymore, and the conversation starts to die after awhile.
I mean we do the casual "how was your day? school? what'd you do?," and everything, but after that, it's hard to talk about anything else cause you've already talked about mostly everything.

i have totally been in this situation.
thats how i usually am with guys that i like.
okay.
what i usually do is.start asking random ?'s&then saying "I'm really bored so i feel like asking random questions".
also try like getting him to laugh.
try by telling him jokes&all.
plus.
if you still dont think you know that much about him.
ask him ?'s on what he likes to do? whats he wanna be when he grows up? if he plays an instrument.
try doing all that.
it usually helps&pick us some point with me&the guys i like.

okay theres this kid i like in school. lets call him bob. I guess you'd call it love at first sight.. or.. attraction.. or like getting a crush. I liked him since the first day of school, but didnt admit it for a while. I've never known him before, so yeah its fresh. I was never really his friend.. or his enemy, it was like neutral but I didnt really talk to him that much, because of me being shy.
Im not really a shy person, but.. sometimes I just am, like if Im uncomfortable or something. Anyway, once he stood up for me to this stupid kid who was dissing my instrument, when he had an instrument himself, so he shouldnt even have been talking. It was nice, but me being so shy, I was like "um thanks" but couldnt bring myself to see his expression (I'm a bottom locker and his locker is like.. above mine, 1 space away) And some other stuff too.
Today, he talked to me like twice.. first he asked about like if we had homework, because I was working on this thing for our class that I didnt finish.. but it was due a long time ago. then like 2 periods later he asked if I got 100% on some writing piece. okay.. why does he know this and why does he care?
I dunno whether to be happy or like not be, cuz I'm overthinking things as usual. Anyway, then I kept on seeing him in the hallway and stuff, and whenever I'd look at him he'd be looking at me back. And then like in the last period I just came from the water fountain and he like caught me off guard because I just like moved a piece of my hair away from my wet lip.. haha I hope I looked hott then.
anyways, then i couldnt really concentrate in that class because that was just plain awkward. OKAY, so what are your ideas with this? i really dont want to get heartbroken, nor do I know if I like.. love him and would wanna go out with him. its so confusing! im not even much of his friend yet, but we have some similaraties, too. (like, we're really sporty) or how do i become his friend? no matter what you say, Im real shy around boys I like. I cant go up to them and say like "hi" and stuff... how can I just find a way to join the conversation.. or make the whole thing easier? GAH this is soo hard!

haha i agree you really are over thinking things.......unlike you I'm not shy around the guys I like, but that's ok! I'm also very random so I just go up to boys and say "hi" even tho they look at me weird they say hi back and then we get into a conversation and that's how I meet most of my guy friends. It's really nice that "bob" stuck up for you. Maybe you could just say hi once in awhile, even tho you say your too shy. If you break out of your shell when it comes to boys they will get to know you more and start to like you. So give it a try! =] -Rachel
