Q: how do i know if he's with me 4 sex or not

well, this is kind of a broad question. in my opinion, if you guys start dating. and he automatically wants to start doing sexual things. Then hes most likely just trying to get sex.

Also, if you guys have only dated for a short time, and he brings up sex and he says "if you love me you will" and if the first time he ever says "i love you" is in the same sentence of sex, hes likely trying to use you for sex.

i have been friends with this guy for about a year. he's really cool and all, and i consider him my guy best friend, and i guess he considers me his girl best friend. we have a lot of things in common, and we talk about all anything. from sports to music to girls and all that stuff. one time we talked in AIM for 8 hours straight! the last time i talked to him, before he left for vacation, we talked about how we talked for 8 hours straight. [[it's always been random things that we talk about]] and somewhere along the line of conversation, i said something like, "well, i wouldn't wanna waste your time talking to me."
here's a quick scene from that conversation::
HIM: oh come on. you're one of the only people i could talk to for 8 hours and love it
ME: uh-huh
HIM: yeaah. why do you think that it would be a waste of time for me?
ME: i don't know... maybe you have better things 2 do?
HIM: now why would i talk to you for so long if i had better things to do? i talked to you for 8 hours because i love talking to you
ME: i guess... lol... this is turning into one of those "aw" moments
HIM: hahahahahaha. sure i guess. just being

i thought it was REALLLY sweet of him to say that. since then i've been feeling like i like him more than a friend. i heard that he kinda likes someone, but i'm not sure who it is. i don't really wanna tell him that i like him, because i don't wanna put our friendship in jeopardy. i'm thinking of just waiting to see if he'll ask me out. maybe not anytime soon, but hopefully when i still like him. should i? we don't go to the same school anymore. we used to, but his parents wants him to go to this other school so that he has a better chance of him getting into this high school that i'm hoping to get into, too. i really miss him, and even though i talk to him more than anybody else, i still feel like it's not enough. what should i do?

wow i went thru this exact same problem.

me and my boyfriend were best of friends in 8th grade we always flirted and talked on the phone. but neverr would admit that we liked eachother. even tho i knew he did.

then one day i just asked him on the way to class. i said "john, idk if you like me, but i really like you" and then i just went to class. then when i came back. he told me he had feelings for me. and this was back in april 2005. and if i never told him how i felt, i honestly dont know what would have happend.

so i think that you should just express your feelings to him. i know what you meant tho. i thought going out with my best friend would complicate things, buts its turned out to be the best desicion of my life.

Q: So, I have this friend who i've known for a long time now, that really really likes me. She tells me i'm beautiful, treats me really well, and even takes me out on dates to carnivals, movies, and the beach.
The problem is, I already have a girlfriend. I know that she loves me, and we've been going out for at least 5 months now. I love her SO much, but she often treats me horribly. At the very begginning of our relationship, she cheated alot, but she hasnt for at least 4 months. Now that i've cheated on her with this other girl, I've realized how much I truly love her. I'm not sure if I should stay with my current girlfriend, or break up with her and date this new girl. I'm less attracted to the new girl physically, but my old girlfriend talks down to me, and makes me feel low, and almost never takes me out on dates.
What shall I do?!

you have to ask yourself that question. write down on a peice of paper what do you like about each person. to me it sounds like youve already figured it out. if you have fun with this girl and your, yourself around her. it all depends on who you feel more comforatable around. if you have to be a certain person around your current girlfriend and not just be how you normally are.. just think about that. i hope that helped.

Q: do you think it would be awkward to IM a guy that you liked for 3 years but havent talked to almost 1 year? i really want to start talking to him again. what should i say and what would be a clever way to talk to him again without making it seem obvious. also my friend said i should IM him just making small conversation then after a few times tell him how i feel and if he says he likes me too then continuie talking obviously but if he says he doesnt or doesnt say anything then stop talking to him so he'll feel bad do you think that'd work? should i try that? but how do i start talking to him again i have a 99% feeling he doesnt like me but he used to so it could happen again? how should i start talking to him again? thank you

i think that you should IM him. and just tell him what you told us. well just be like. "wow ive really missed you, how have you bee, ect." and see how he reacts to that. if hes just like "oh hey, yea, uh nothing" you can tell if hes not interested. just talk to him for awile untill your comfortable telling him how you feel. and if he doesnt like you, then dont just stop talking to him, be his friend. i hope that helps
