okay. im 14... i dont see how people geet fat... i mean theres alot a big people in this world always complaining about their weight..&& ive never been fat before..im like really skinny...and i eat alot...when i see that im gaining a few pounds i cut down a little..&& it helps me keep my figure...alot of people even think im anorexic but im not..trust me.....what i dont get is why is it a really big person all like look at me im fat..i dont fit in&& low self exsteem and stuff...when really they can control that fat of theirs...unless someones making you eat alot...if you really want to be skinny...work for it you fat cows...just kidding...just saying...if you really want to be skinny WORK...and if you think you dont fit in cause you're different(fat )..you are different..cause you take up more space so get over it seriously..im tired of listening to them fat people...most people who are fat are fat because theyre 'GREEDY'

My question really is: why are there so many fat people in this world??? cant you learn how to cut down..you GREEDY people...why cant a fat person just stop eatting so much..and WORK..come on people!! if you are one who eats alot..it helps to cut down by eatting less..dont even look at the food that is saying"eat me!!!"...so please help me understand thanks...

I'm just going to say whatever I feel on this topic regardless of the rating I get.
Mmkay. To start, some people have diseases in their glands, diabetes, etc that cause them to gain weight,, nothing they can do about it. These 'fat people' dont want to look the way they do. Nobody likes looking like that. And I speak from expierience when I say, losing weight is hard. I have been dieting and excersising this summer to loose weight, and it is harder than you skinny girls with fast motabolism think. You guys can just loose the weight, no problem. Others have to work. You are telling them to work, yet you can eat whatever you want for the most part ? Seems wrong for you to judge on somthing like that. Saying that it is easy to lose weight and they are greedy etc, when you have never had to WORK to look the way youu do. Hmm? Think about it. I have been sucessful in my attempts to slim down and it shows. I'm not a bone rack, and i wouldnt WANT to be a bone rack either. I play sports, I have an athletic, muscular body, big boned, large framed, with hardly any fat anymore. And I like it that way. :] Mkay so its really not easy to lose weight. Don't judge a situation you have never been in. I don't like it when skinny girls make fun of bigger girls because they have never been in a situation like that.

well im one of those girls who care about there weight 24-7! im so sick of feeling i have to be pretty,smart,athletic,and more improtanly SKINNY. sometimes when i see junk food its just there so why not eat it rite? ik its bad to eat it but it taste so good and i like it. then i do the worst thing ever look in the mirror and go gross im fat! it like duh you were just eating junk. so everytime i go to a party i go its just food think of it as garbage. doesnt work im also one of those people who like starve themselves and my friends know it because one time in school we were watching this movie that talked about crap like that and i looked so sad but i didnt care so they know! and well im 5'5 and like wiegh god who knows now probally still 123 and i dont like that if i ever get to 130 i will kill myself no like so what im trying to do is like l00se the pounds b4 november my next checkup so if i see a 130 something i will really no lie kill myself i dont like that so if you guys would help me any sugestions that would be great!!
Oh I'm afraid of the rating i'll get..You're not fat. Chill out. Your perfectly normal. If you weighed 130 you would still be normal. I know girls 5'8" that weigh 175 that arent fat because they have LOADS of muscle, yeah they might be overweight but there's nothing wrong with that just chill out dont go all suicidal. killing yourself over that is the stupidest thing i have heard in a long time. Do you come on here to get compliments off these types of questions? Because 5'5" & 130 isn't fat. Duh.

This is long so be prepared...
I'm 13/f and I'm having trouble with my body image. I used to be overweight (about 2 years ago) but then my mom helped me get into a better diet and now I'm not SO overweight and fat. Over the past few months I've been starting to eat sweets here and there but I'm still exercising a lot. The feeling of "Oh my gosh I've gotten so fat" suddenly came on in the past month. I have even gained weight and I'm really, really close to being over weight according to the weight chart. I will admit that I'm one of those girls who says "I'm fat" in front of my friends and especially my mom and expect to hear "oh no you're not." So when I said "I've gained a lot of weight!!! GOSH I'm starting to get so fat again..." to my mom she didn't say anything like "you're over reacting...you look just fine." She simply said "well, you're going to have to work on that." I was shocked =O I couldn't believe that even she had started to notice (and in a way agreed with me) and now I'm starting to wonder if other people notice. So...I got really depressed about it...and said to myself "if I could just be skinny I'd feel so much better about myself..." I hate thinking that the only way to get thin is to just not eat. I also realize I'm putting how I LOOK in front of my HEALTH and it's bothering me that I am ignoring what becoming a semi-anorexic would do to my health. I'm not exactly "huge" but I do have plenty of extra pounds I want to get rid of. At the moment I'm really upset because I don't know what to do. When I talked to my mom she just said "well, you need to get back into eating healthy" but I am and it ISN'T WORKING. She also says "You are also over reacting about becoming anorexic. you're being such a drama queen." HELLO! I'M SERIOUS HERE!! and i don't plan on becoming skin and bones. I really need some advice on what to do...I'm worrying myself by the way I'm thinking! =[
I have expeiriece with this, its actually like, the same story. I was overweight 2 years ago, severly, and lost so much weight and gained HUGE amounts of muscle its not even funny how much muscle i have. Chances are people probably are tired of hearing you complain about yourself, so they dont say "oh your not fat" they say "work on that" people dont like to hear people fishing for compliments. I'm sure your probably very pretty. Don't worry about your weight too much as alot of people actually do grow out of being chubby etc. anorexia = bad idea. NOT a fun way to live, trust me :] If you are continuing to exercise, you are in shape and probably have a fair amount of muscle, so that could contribute to your weight as well. If you are eating relativly healthy and working out there is really not that much to be worried about. You can't be HORRIBLY unhealthy if you excersise regularly. Keep eating what you crave but just don't OVEREAT. Eat what you want when you want it but stop when you are satisfied. its ok to be hungry, so dont eat until you are completely full, eat until hunger subsides. And don't cut out junk completely because then you will want it and all that want will build up and will bust and you will binge (eat excessivly) of the candy or whatever you crave. Just cut back on it. I also suggest you maybe look up a chart of negative calorie foods, which are foods that burn calories as they are digested (Steak is a Negative Calorie food!). Keep working out. Just dont obsess too much, as stress can actually lead to weight-gain :] If the charts say you are normal, just dont stress. Good Luck & Let me Know how it goes.
