I am a 17 year old male.
I play guitar and can do an awesome SKA upstroke.
I'm trying to put together a ska band but am unsure about writing songs, like how would I go about writing music and lyrics for a ska band?
Also would it be extremely devastating to a ska band to not have trombones?
If I were you, I'd look at all the ska bands that you listen to. Look directly at the lyrics so you get a sense of the style/poetic devices that they use.

I don't know what that song is, but on www.songlyrics.com there's a feature where you type in some of the lyrics and it'll tell you the best match.

Hmm, try old Something Corportate like their album Leaving Through The Window. You might like Paramore, Halifax, you may like Atreyu and underoath, but maybe not. I'd definatley check out those bands and if you need more, I'm always here.

I'm really desprete here. I've just wasted an hour looking for the lyrics of the song A List Goes On by Starflyer 59 album name: Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice. and I can't find it anywhere. If anyone can link me to a site I will honestly love you forever. Because I need it for school and of course I waited until the last minute. Or the Song "What Belongs To You" I have no clue who it's by. I think they are both Christain songs just because of what came up in the searches I did.
If not does anyone know any songs about lists, and what belongs to us? That would also help. I have to compare a poem I choose to a song. And I can't find a good song. The poem is called "What Belongs To Us" by Marie Howe.

What I do is type "name of song here" lyrics by artist and a decent amount does pop up.
