If you have a question about song lyrics,(for example "I know song lyrics but I don't know what the song is") I recommend you go to letssingit.com =).
advice
does anyone no any songs/ quotes about like being betrayed/ditched /ignored by best friends thankss a bunch ahead of time =]
Seventy Times Seven by Brand New
Saying Goodbye by Sugarcult
Existing In A Crisis (Evelyn) by Bayside
This Photograph Is Proof by Taking Back Sunday
Fairweather Friend by Spitalfield
Look up lyrics to songs by Brand New and Taking Back Sunday. They have a lot of lyrics that deal with ex-bestfriends, backstabbing, and other stuff like that (mostly because the lead singers of the two bands are ex-bestfriends.)
I'm doing a Jazz solo this year and I need some suggestions on songs. I really do not want a new song because those get annoying after awhile, so an older song would be better.
Thanks!
You know, there are quite a few songs that I listen to and think that they'd be a perfect song for a dance solo. =) I wish that people would do lesser-known songs for solos in dance like you're doing.
So here it goes:
Punk Rock Princess- Something Corporate
Cryin'- Aerosmith
It's Still Rock And Roll To Me- Billy Joel
Honestly- Cartel
Soar- Christina Aguilera
Promise- Matchbook Romance
Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn- Hellogoodbye
Privelege- Incubus
Into The Airwaves- Jack's Mannequin
Don't Stop Believin'- Journey
Everything Is Alright- Motion City Soundtrack
The Future Freaks Me Out- Motion City Soundtrack
Lunacy Fringe- The Used
14/f, if it matters (:
i want to find songs like these;
When I Go Down - Relient K
Save Us - Cartel
Gravity - John Mayer
my friend died last friday, her funeral is thursday, and i'm supposed to make a CD of songs like that,
like, rock-ish, but slow songs, and sad.
thanks in advance for any help
I'm sorry about your friend. =(
Try some of these songs:
Your Guardian Angel- Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Bend Your Arms To Look Like Wings- Funeral For A Friend

Sidewalks- Story Of The Year
Hard To Say- The Used
Hands On Deck- Waking Ashland
One Year, Six Months- Yellowcard

Some of these songs start out slow and turn into kinda fast songs, so just check 'em out. Hope I helped. =)
are cameras allowed into the honda civic tour (fall out boy, +44, the academy is, and cobra starship)?
thank yyou!!
When I went, my friends brought digital cameras and there were a couple other people with them, too... but if you're in the mosh pit section-type thing, try to hide your camera if a security guard looks at you lol. Every once in a while they would check to see if anyone had a camera and everybody in the pit just hid them until the security guards looked away. So yeah, bring one, but don't make it too obvious that you have a camera, I think you'll be alright. =)
Please, if you could: list the most optimistic song you know.
Good Day Sunshine- The Beatles
Soar- Christina Aguilera
Here Come the Sun- The Beatles
...I know you didn't ask for 3 but these are all equally optimistic in my opinion lol. Have a nice day. =)
My favorite type of music is alternative/soft rock. For example-Fountains of Wayne, Guster, hellogoodbye, Sugarcult, Coldplay, and stuff like Third Eye Blind.
Does any know any bands like these I may like? Thanks!
Jack's Mannequin, American Hi-Fi, Something Corporate, Waking Ashland, Acceptance, Bright Eyes, Spitalfield, The Spill Canvas, Terminal, Yesterday's Rising. =)
what's a good punk rock love song?
One Slowdance - Rufio
Hands Down - Dashboard Confessional
Letters to You - Finch
Promise - Matchbook Romance
Hey There Delilah - Plain White T's
As You Sleep- Something Corporate
She Paints Me Blue- Something Corporate
Sunsets and Carcrashes- The Spill Canvas
Best of Me- The Starting Line
I Am For You - Waking Ashland
I've already tried looking it up on google, but I couldn't find it, so could someone please tell me the song by the Used that is purely piano. I think it was Bert McCraken just playing something randomly. If someone could tell me the name, it would be greatly appreciated.
The song is called "Sometimes I Just Go For It." It's on their CD/DVD called 'Maybe Memories'. And yes, Bert McCracken did just improvise it randomly one day, but it's an extremely sick-nasty song. =)
does anyone have lyrics to songs are good quotes for AIM? just a list of titles and maybe the lyrics would be great!! thanks in advance
Oh yeah, I always put lyrics in my profile so I'll give you some songs and bands that have good quotes. =)
Hurricane-Something Corporate
Bowl Of Oranges- Bright Eyes
No Lies, Just Love- Bright Eyes
Promise- Matchbook Romance
Break Myself-Something Corporate
Dark Blue- Jack's Mannequin
Pretty much any song by Anna Nalick has good lyrics in it, as well as Matchbook Romance, Brand New, Death Cab For Cutie, etc.
Try lyrics from songs from plays like Rent, Phantom Of The Opera, and Wicked.
You could also go to www.wittyprofiles.com for lots of random quotes. =)
I just finished my "popular" style song for my piano lessons. My only problem is...
WHAT SHOULD I PICK NEXT??
I don't like classical style much. I like really any kind of top 40 music, rock, alt., movies, anything but country really (sorry country people!)
I've been playing for seven years so "toughness" is no issue.
What are some songs (not necessarily just for piano... even songs like Dirty Little Secret that's been transcribed into piano form) that would be cool to play/hear on the piano?
Thanks!!!
Try some of these songs:
"Soliloquy" by Dropping Daylight
"Let It Be" by The Beatles
"Goodbye Song" by New Found Glory
"Bright Lights by Matchbox 20
"Imagine" by John Lennon
"My Immortal" by Evanescence
"Sometimes I Just Go For It" by The Used
"Existensialism On Prom Night" by Straylight Run
"Here In My Room" by Incubus
I've played all of these songs on piano before, and I couldn't find sheet music for some of them, but they're pretty easy to learn by ear.
I also highly recommend anything by Something Corporate or Jack's Mannequin. This website has sheet music for most of their songs.
http://myfriendadam.co.nr/
You could also try playing theme songs from movies, like songs from Pirates of the Carribean and such. The theme song from the movie Corpse Bride, called Victor's Piano Solo, is really pretty. Go to musicnotes.com and see the staff's picks, the most popular sheet music, etc. They have a lot of good sheet music there. =)
okay see theres this band called " straightlight run", i don't know if you people have heard of them or not. you probably have. but i want to listen to them but i can't find a website that has them. any suggestions ? i already checked myspace, and yahoo.. nothing.
Ahhh I
Hey, I've just recently begun learning guitar and I know a little bits and pieces of songs, but I'm not good enough to start doing chords yet. Does anybody know any songs that are easy to play or anything? [ It's for accoustic guitar, by the way ]. Help?
Try some of these songs:
"Time of Your Life" by Greenday
"Adam's Song" by Blink 182
"New American Classic" by Taking Back Sunday
"Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's
"Californication" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers
'Demolition Lovers" by My Chemical Romance
"Tiger Lily" by Matchbook Romance
"Brain Stew" by Green Day (It's an electric guitar in the actual song but it's really east to play on acoustic guitar)
"On My Own" by The Used
"Drive" by Incubus
i notised that you requested this providence, and i just saw them in concert opening for paramore and i was wondering if their cd was good, and if it was worth buying?
Well, I don't own any of their CDs, but I downloaded most of their songs from their CD "Our World's Divorce." So I don't know how good their other CD is, "The Sunday's Best", but I say if you're gonna buy one of their CD's, buy "Our World's Divorce." I really like the songs I've heard from it; and I think it's worth buying. Oh yeah, and btw, their new self-titled album is coming out on Sept. 12. It all kinda depends on how much you liked them when you saw them in concert, but I think it's worth buying one of their CDs. =)
i need some new music, i like rock, alternative, indie, the stuff like that. Please give me new bands or non common ones. Becuase i already know of a lot of bands so i need new ones.
Jess
A couple of really good bands that aren't that common:

-Yesterday's Rising
-Spitalfield
-This Providence
-The Movielife
-Hidden In Plain View
-The Fall Of Troy
-Minus The Bear
-Just Surrender
i really like that song from schindler's list. i think its the theme song and like um.. itzak perlman plays it. does anyone know where to get the sheet music like.. for free? thx alott!
i know a couple of websites that say they're free, but usually they don't end up working. Your best bet is to go to musicnotes.com and type in the artist or name of the movie. You can print out the first page of the music for free, so you can see if you like it. You can also try:

www.8notes.com
