I'm attending a writer's course and have some modelling jobs (By the way, do you like my pic? Ask me anything on style and fashion!), I hang out a lot with my friends (I frequent a lot of interesting, creative people; goths, vamp-goths, a few emos and punks, painters, musicians), I've experienced loosing family members and friends (some of these deaths were suicide) and I have a turbulent love life as well, I'm bisexual so it's not always that easy.

ok, so i've been into rock lately, and i have a lot of rock songs right now, but i was wondering if there's any really really good rock songs that ya'll like. what i'm looking for the most are the songs that aren't all that famous, but are still "good quality". i'm mostly into punk, emo, alternative, and a little of gothic. i'm open to hearing everything. i would really love it if you can give me songs and their artists, if you can. My friend suggested Slipknot, but I'm looking for music that doesn't scream all of the time. Yelling is OK, but screaming is annoying. I'm not looking for rock where the artists try to sound tough with their voices. I prefer hard electric guitars and drums to somebody screaming.
I know most of you are girls, but any rock suggestions are appreciated. Perhaps you can ask your boyfriends if you don't know of any.

Here's some advice from a fellow Type O Negative fan! You should try listening to Avenged Sevenfold (A7X)! Or Black Sabbath.
If you don't mind a female lead singer, I think you'll like Lacuna Coil,I totally love them!They're sorta like gothic, like Type 0 Negative.

Try and listen to Malice Mizer! They're this really great band from Japan, but many of their songs are in French!
Their music and themes were characterized by their strong French and classical influences, and later they've incorporated Gothic-Victorian aspects as well. I tell you, they're just great if you're looking for French-inspired songs.
I've once been to see them on stage and I've gotta say their costumes were just fantastic, like real victorian gothic.
