First off, I wish my average rating thing was my GPA. Heh.I'm a girl, 15, generally use good grammar (yay!), and a huge fan of sarcasm though I know when it's appropriate and when it isn't. Politics, psychology, philosophy, and history all fascinate me. The music I like usually falls under the genres of psychedelic and classic rock. I hate rap. And George W. Bush. I like giving advice because it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that other people are crazier than I am.

Ok so I'm a year older then all of my friends. And I don't want them to know. I didn't get left back or anything. I have my reasons why I don't want them to know. So I'm scared that if one of them sees my school I.D. They will see that I wasn't born the same year they were. I'm so scared. I really can't tell them the truth don't ask why please. So I was wondering if someone can help me make up a lie. I kniw lying is bad but I'm desperate. This tortures me so much!. I need a lie to tell them why it says that I'm a year older. Like I don't know maybe my passport did that when I came here I seriously need help please!
Well, I don't really understand you're dread of them finding out, but nonetheless, the main thing I can think of is to simply say its a fake ID that someone made for you that looks super authentic...but that would only really work if you were pretending to be either 17 or 20...which you probably aren't...so you could maybe say that the person who made it for you messed up or something?
Sorry, that's really the only thing that isn't *completely* ridiculous that I could think of! I hope everything works out for you.
Ok, what are some good topics to give a speech on that will reach the 'hearts minds and souls of your fellow students'. I'm really tryin to think of a topic that will appeal to ALL of the audience (in this case grades 9 to 12), but I cant seem to think of anything that isnt cliche and I dont want to do that. Does anyone know something? I wont talk about rape or child abuse or something because its not really something direct to reach people with. Or how the media influences kids. They'll all be like 'Uh no, whats that got to do with us?' Do you get what I'm saying? And no one is a rapist or has been raped, so, you know, I want something they'll actually listen to, something actually worth talking about. Please help me!
Eating disorders... you can relate this to the media as well, ie glorifying overly thin airbrushed models etc which could contribute to girls feeling they need to look that way.
Another one *could* be affirmative action... giving special priveleges to those of minority races to make up for past greivances... for example, a White person may not be granted admission into a college while an African American of equal ability is, purely because of their race and to make up for how cruelly African Americans were treated before. There are valid arguments both sides, you'd have to decide where you stand on this matter. Although, I'm not sure how relavant this is to the society you live in, so you might want to be careful with this one.

Trying to find out what happens when chemicals regularly have bad effects on the Earth.
I have been searching for tips on how to be veery well liked by just abou teveryone in school. When i was in 8th grade not a lot of people liked me i was kinda mean to people but thats becasue i didnt fit in. I am now in 10th grade and i wasnt to change for the better of me and my surroundings. When i am around people I have difficulties to start conversations and keep then goinggggg. Please help me i rate high
Being liked by EVERYONE is only as important as you make it out to be. In other words, find yourself a few close friends, stick by them no matter what, and still be friendly to as many people as you can. Close friends reallly help in High School, I always find that having a few of them is MUCH better then millions of aquaintances. Need conversation starters? Everyone always likes compliments, try going up to someone and just saying something nice about them. Don't confuse this with sucking up though, like someone else said no one likes artificial people. Or just talk about what you did over the weekend, etc etc, you'll get better over time.
