I'm 20 years old, and I've been told by numerous people I give good advice. I'm a realist, I might tell you things you don't want to hear, but I promise they will be true. My intentions are to help you with my advice whether it makes you mad or not. Sometimes the best advice is the hardest to swallow. If you have a question for me feel free to ask, and I will answer to the best of my ability.

so the boy i have a huge crush on might be coming to my house at christmas with his family. my parents an his are friends and my mom was talking about inviting then round one night after christmas, and was wondering what could i say, some good convo starters, so that we can get to know each other abit better, but the only problen is he has a girlfriend but weather they will still be together at christmas i dont know, any help please ?

Whether he has a girlfriend or not when you see him shouldn't affect the way you start this conversation. Talk to him as if you were talking to close friend; don't flirt. Instead go for your normal conversation starters. Try to find common ground; maybe you both like the same band, or movie. Try to pick topics that you know a lot about, and avoid pretending to understand things you don't. If he starts talking about a sport or something you have never seen or don't fully understand don't pretend to, because he will quickly realize you don't. If something of the sorts comes up just ask him to explain it. Show interest in things that he seems passionate about. Basically in this meeting you want to get to know each other, and you want to leave a lasting impression in his mind. When the relationship he is in ends, you want to be the first person he considers next. :)
