Hi I'm a 13 year old boy and the other day I got beat up by a girl just because I splashed her accidentally and got her phone wet. I tried to apologize and even fought back, but she pounded me pretty bad. I'm feeling so bummed and stressed out because I never thought this could ever happen to me by a girl. Now I'm worried about the next time or if I'm ever going to be able to go to the beach again with friends because she might be there and they will find out that she beat me up and will tease me about it and stuff, and what if she beats me up again in front of them? She said she would if she saw me there again... any advice? Stressed and scared. (link)

Hey sweetheart,
You\'re 13. It was an accident. Things happen and girls react in ways you won\'t understand. Trust me on that. Violence is never the answer and you will learn that as you get older. Do not be stressed out about this or be afraid to go to the beach again. You are young, have fun, go out, and if you see her, give her a little smirk but that\'s all. Don\'t show her you\'re afraid because that\'s what she wants. Keep your head up, have fun, let the situation go, you can\'t change it. You\'re okay. Just breathe and be careful who you surround yourself with:)

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I think I'm gonna take a break from the beach for a bit though. I know what you're saying about not letting her know I'm afraid of her, but it's sort of hard not to be after what she did to me. I think if I were to smirk at her the next time I see her, this girl would get mad and use that for a reason to fight again. I think the main reason why she did it in the first place was to look cool in front of her friends. Not so much because I splashed her while sunbathing or got her phone wet. Thanks again Mackie!
