I have known this boy since I was a little girl. I guess you could say were friends.Now in high school I have got feelings for him. He is kind of popular now and I think he likes one of the perfect girls in my year.

I am in almost the same situation right now. What I would do is I would start talking to him. Not about anything sexual unless he brings it up though. If you talk to him then you will become closer to him. You will know each other better. Show him that he can trust you with anything. And when you say that you'll keep a secret, that means you WILL keep it. You can't tell anyone not even your closest friend. He will start two tell you more and more.. It might be a good idea for you to tell him things also (obviously) You'll know when the time is right and you should tell him your thoughts about him..
