My friends keep telling me to try online dating sites because its a good way to meet new people but I'm kinda skeptical about it. For instance if I do go on and I see someone I'm interested do I message them first or wait for them to message me. If I messaged a guy first would I look desperate. And how long do you talk to someone on these sites before you exchange numbers or decide to meet. Tell me what you think. (link)

I would most definitely try Okcupid.com or plentyoffish.com Those are both very good dating sites and happen to be sites I've explored and met awesome guys on. I met my fiance on Okcupid and we are getting married in Sept. You won't look desperate at all messaging a guy first unless you say the wrong thing. On your profile word what you are clearly looking for and guys will talk to you. Talk to the guy for at least a week or 2 until you give him you're number or it's basically a butty cool before then. Give him you're email or aim if he's really wanting to talk outside the sites...most guys just wanna talk on those sites, just gotta look at the right guys. Hope I helped.
