Well good luck at the dance firstly.
It really depends on what type of guy her is.
If he is a flirt and girls seem to like him, make the first move.
Those kind of guys like that sort of stuff.
If he is shy there are two ways to go.
There are some shy guys that will never make a move so you should.
If he is the shy kind that wants to take it slow don't.
It really depends on what you think, do you think it is right?
If you truly do, then make the move.
Also there is quite a while until is is February and allot of things can happen between that time.
So don't worry about it now.
