ok im a sophomore this year and i dated this jerk in 7th grade and he was awful to me and dumped me repeatedly and cheated on me so much and i dumped him the last time and totally refuse to talk to him. i seriously hate him like everytime hes around or i hear about him i got instantly heated and angry. its been like 4 years and im still not over him even though i make it seem like i am. what can i do? You need to go out! and find someone NEW! get around other people go away from him and loose all contacts with him... he treated you so badly.. I heard when guys treat women badly it lets the brain be more involved in thinking and always up to something if he hadnt then you would be bored and your brain wouldnt focus so much on him , but thats just what I heard once OR read! but I think you should really stop talking or thinking or asking questions about him , its been a while and you really did like him and it must really hurt... I know because he hurt you and that scar is on you for a very long time and it takes time to heal but you need to let it go , once you let it go everything will work out

see i did let go of him..or tried to. I've dated alot of great guys since then and am in a relationship with this great guy and its been a year:) its just when i see him i cant breathe and i feel like there's a knife in my heart but somehow i still want him..but thanks for the advice! i need it. lol
