Q: i am a 13 year old girl. i started talking to the most popular guy in school in the beginning of february...only to find that in a couple weeks, i was in love with him. in the middle of feb., i went to miami, we became bestfriends telling eachother everything and helping eachother out.(with a little flirting) it was one of the best weeks of my life. on the last day of my vacation, i decided to tell him how i felt. (just that i liked him) and he told me he wasnt sure how he felt about me yet. we continued to be bestfriends and soon after he told me he felt the same way. my school went on a big sleepaway fieldtrip and everything was going great. then one night one of his friends came up to me and warned me and about 'what he was doing' which was he just wanted to get in my pants...awks. i was so upset and ignored him all the next day. that night he wouldnt stop texting me after hours to try to explain and i wouldnt answer. finally he sent a long message explaining how much he liked me for me, and he would never say that. he even sent some of the lyrics to just the way you are. my love was back on. we starting hanging out and becoming even better friends. everyone knew we liked eachother. one day downtown he asked me out. of course i had to say yes because i've never felt this way about any other guy. we went out for 3 weeks and it was the best 3 weeks of my entire life. we kissed lots of times and he told me all the things i wanted to hear. even 'i love you' came up a few times. then came 'that day' behind the shed...i'm guessing things didn't go as he'd liked because 3 days later he broke up with me and didnt tell me why. guess his friend was right and looking out for me all along. any advice on what i did? (this is months after the fact, i just want to know) sorry its so long. but i've been heartbroken for months.
Depending on your relationship with the person who had told you about what this guy was doing was obviously right. Usually when someone tells you that kind of information, half the time it's true. The way he acted doesn't sound out of the ordinary til you were "behind the shed." you didn't do anything wrong, he most likely wanted everything to go much further and you might have not wanted that. Guys like that are a disgrace. I say move on because you are too young to be stressing about this kind of stuff, and way too young for sex. Go on with your life and try and be happy. You will feel much better if you move on and find a way to become happy. I hope this helps. Goodluck sweetheart.

thank you, it did
