So I've been with the same man for almost 2 years now, we've known each other for about 3. I do love him, but honestly, I'm getting bored. I've seriously thought about it and I've almost left him a few times. The thing that stops me is the fact that I could never get him back and my fear of being alone. So what should I do? I'm not sure if this is something I should talk to him about or maybe just something I need to decide on my own.

Part of the growing process is being able to live as an independent person. And having to stay around people you have trouble tolerating for long is a hell all of its own. So you need to jettison the boyfriend and seek another mate because your growth as a human and the opportunity to widen your social circle is being stifled by remaining in the relationship.
