My bf and I (both 18) decided to mutually split up after our five month relationship started going downhill. He is a sweet guy but sometimes he doesn't understand me and it was hard to make days to see eachother. We live an hr away. After we split up he didn't talk to me for four months (understandable) and we both havn't dated anyone else. We had a pretty good relationship up to that point. I poked him on facebook a week ago and then today he texts me and asks how Im doing. I say im alright and he says hes ok. The convo went pretty good. He is in college so he does get swamped with homework at times and studying. I am just wondering why he would text me out of the blue? Has he been thinking about me? Thoughts?

It could be taken so many ways. No one really knows except for him. My guess is as good as yours but usually when someone is thinking about you or you are on their mind then they go out of their way to get in contact with you. For example my current boyfriend and I have been and on and off for a few years. We brok up last year in July. I broke up with him and he wanted nothing do with me after because he was so hurt and angry. Long story short I tried getting in contact with him and he kept denying me. I ended up stopping all contact with him. It wasn't until Thanksgiving that I got a text message from him saying he missed me. If you still have feelings and what have you then talk to him. Other than that I would move on! Good luck!
