So, I am a 16 year old girl, 11th grade. There is this really cute boy that I see in the hallway quite frequently. We don't know who eachother is so I can't say like "oh, I think he is slightly interested" he is just cute and I would like to get to know him but since he is a senior we don't even have classes together. I think it will be weird to just see him in the hall and strike up a conversation. So guys, if a girl you didn't know did that, what would you think? And girls, if you were in my situation, what you would do? Thanks everyone! (link)

Having a girl come up to me and say hello would have been a dream come true when I was in high school.
I knew of this really pretty girl who was intelligent and funny. I'd never spoken to her, but I couldn't think of much else. I SO much wanted to just walk up to her, but I didn't have much confidence in myself and I wasn't even sure that she knew I was alive.
I made myself sick thinking about it for a couple weeks, but one day I had enough. I decided that I wasn't getting anywhere as things were, so why not take a chance. My story has a happy ending: that girl is my wife of 33 years this past August. We have a son to be proud of, and he has a family that we love dearly.
So, long babbling story, but YES! Definitely YES! Go say hello to this guy, you may be surprised. (And on the off-chance that it doesn't go well, keep in mind that he may be otherwise committed, not interested in ANY girl at this time, etc.)
