so i haven't been dating my boyfriend so all that long, it's been a little less than 4 months, but we've been friends for a couple of years now (if that matters?)
so the holidays are coming up, and i have no idea what to get him for christmas. the thing is, apart from not having a clue what would be a good gift, i'm kind of on a tight budget... i kinduh don't work (i know, i know). i'm thinking i have about $20 to spend on him? it's about how much i have left after getting my parents' gifts out of the way.
but back to my boyfriend. what's inexpensive and something a guy would like? well the second part of that would be fairly simple if he were in the typical guy category. clothes? not something he'd like, trust me. (i know he'd appreciate it, but i want it to be something he'd LIKE, ya know?). cologne? he doesn't wear it (and he smells just fine.) sports apparel? not much of a sports guy.
you'd think "well you know him!" and to jut go with what he likes, right? wrong. his top interests are technology, music, and video games. anything having to do with technology and electronics is either expensive, or he already has the best. music... please, he downloads everything he wants. video games... i know nothing about. & again, he'd pretty much have it.
i can't ask his guy friends because a)they'd ruin it and b) i don't wanna sound cheap with "btw, i only have 20 to spend. plus, i just kind of don't want to. i can't ask him because presents are meant to be a surprise, and besides, i know he'd just say something like, "oh don't worry about it..."
anything edible and omemade or DIY won't cut it; he does a lot for me, so i want to get him something nice, maybe not 'much', but something i know he'll like.
so... help a girl out? (link)
Being a guy lemme say you can't go wrong with a sports team related gift. Is he a football fan or basketball? How about a magnet for his car with his favorite team's logo on it. A shot glass or hat with the team's logo. Something of that nature, feel me? Video games will work as well. Anyway good luck and get your boy a good gift.

Normally I just wouldn't rate if it's less than 3, but well... I appreciate you taking the time to answer & all I guess, but he wouldn't like sports stuff. He doesn't have a favorite team. Because he's not into sports. Which I specifically mentioned. Not to be a jerk, just thought I;d point out that if you're trying to help, wouldn't be a bad idea to read through the question.
