..or do they just STOP liking the one they're with, when they break up with them, even if someone new isn't on the horizon?
Please note that this isn't related to me, it's just something I've always wondered.
It especially makes me wonder about men when really nice guys, or guys who seem that way, act so flirtatious with their gal pals but still have a steady relationship. Do they even realize they're flirting?

Some guys just have a natural state of flirtacious. Like it's them to just flirt naturally. This does not necessarily mean that they like the other girl. Usually guys who are younger (Middle/High school) try to get the girl to break up with them in some way or they go right ahead and flirt with the new girl they like. Guys can find other girls attractive and might stare and all, but that does not mean they like them. If a guy is bold enough, they'll go right ahead and break up with the girl and try to go for the new one.
