I have this light brown cum looking stuff coming out of my vagina. i just finished my period 2 days ago and ever since then, every once in a while it comes out. i haven't had sex for over a week because of my period so i dont know what it is, before i got my period that same day i had sex and one week before that and another time a week before that. with the same person of course. we have unprotected sex and when i mean unprotected i mean really unprotected we dont use condoms, i dont use birth control and he doesn't pull out. weve been doing it like this for way over a year now and i still haven't got pregnant. i used to cry about it well im glad im not because i'm still a teenager but i get sad because people that use protection can still get pregnant. do you know my problem for both things? please help. There are two reason that I know of that you could have brown vaginal discharge. The first one is something that happens normally at the end of a women's period. Now the second one is what can sometimes happens in replacement to a period when a women is pregnant. I know youve been extremely lucky in the past, but maybe you should you should get a home pregnancy test and just make sure.
Thanks for your comment and yes. This is a pretty normal thing to happen after your period. It is just your body's way of getting rid of all extra blood, like a cleaning process. It is brown because blood turns that color once it is older.
But Ive done more research and I just want you to make sure this is the only thing that has been happening that is kinda different for you. If not, it could be one symtom of many that can be in many cases of STDs.
It would be best that you make an appointment with a doctor. I know this might be scary, but it could be the best descission for you. You might also want to do your own research to see what you could be dealing with. This site can start you off:
