Q: Long story short... guy I like asks me to a party at his house. It's a 'housewarming' for his new housemate, who I've never met. This guy and I don't know each other that well.. we were friends through my ex and have been bumping into each other a bit at college recently. Anyway he invited me in person and told me he'd send me the facebook invite after I asked him to, but he hasn't... even though he's been online. I won't see him at college before the party and I'm wondering if I'm actually properly invited or whether he just being nice. Like I said it's technically for his housemate who I don't even really know. This party is like, my chance to actually get with this guy but I don't want to turn up if it's going to look weird. I also forget exactly what day it is. Will I come across as desperate if I send him a facebook message asking for the details? I don't want to come off too strongly, just in case he only invited me as an after thought. Or should I just forget about the whole thing?
thanks.
