Hey, you answered my question on Scoliosis before. I'm wondering if your cousin ever experienced any pain? I really don't ever have pain in my back except the usual stuff. I do get constant headaches but I'm 99% sure it's from stress. I'm assuming if I don't have that much pain in my back, that it's not too serious. I think if it were, my doctor would have mentioned something at the time. They never recommended X-rays or anything, just said it was a minor case. Any ideas if I'd need surgery like your cousin? My cousin never mentioned severe pain and just has the usual back pain many people suffer from. As for your headaches, chiropractors say being misaligned can cause them but it's really hard to determine. Stress is probably the biggest factor.
My cousin was examined at school (every kid was examined) and they referred her to a doctor who took her x rays and they decided she would need surgery. If you feel uneasy, I suggest seeing a specialist and requesting x rays. Then you can physically see your curvature.
A good tip off is if your scoliosis is noticeable. My cousin's posture was leaned to a certain side and you could easily tell.
I'm not a doctor so the only way you can know for sure is to see one.
Good luck,
-Abby

ty! when doctors checked my back, they noticed a slight curve to the right (the right shoulder blade is lower) but they had told me it was minor scoliosis at the time. they told me when I was younger, and I've pretty much stopped growing so I'm sure if anything really bad were to occur, i'd know. so hopefully i'm all set. ty for the help
