I tried uplodeing a video on youtube that I made on windows movie maker but they won't let me... any ideas on what i'm doing wrong???

It depends on what kind of file you made. If you uploaded the windows movie maker project file, it won't work, because the file isn't an actual video. You probably need to do something like File, Export, and export a file that is .mp4

It might be too long, I think there is a 10 minute limit on youtube movies. It might also be too big, there is a size limit.
