Q: Well me and my mom had a talk about boys the other day and she knows the boy that I liked , and I told her that we have bee dating for 11 months , she wasn't mad she just told me not to have sex and she to me to try and stay focus on my school work. Which I have been doing , I just got my report card and I got good grade . But I was wondering if I should tell my father or should I not tell him ? I mean I talk 2 my dad nut we don't have that close realtionship like me and my mother do . So what do you think . Should I wait a little bite to tell him or should I just tell him now .
And please can you explain why or why not I should or shouldn't tell him thanks

I had the exact same problem. I told my mom about this guy, and she instantly turned around and told my dad. My dad was dissapointed not that i was dating anyone, but that i wasn't the first to tell him. He hates hearing stuff about my life from my mother. He wanted me to tell him stuff about my life. i dont know your age, but 11 months sounds serious enough to tell your father. Besides maybe your relationship with your dad will strengthen if you show you want to share a part of your life with him. That way, when it comes time to go on a date with said boy, your dad will know about this boy and it won't sound like its some random guy you just met, and hes more likely to allow you to go. Hurry up before your mom blabs! lol

My names Kass and I'm fom Edmonton, Alberta. I am a vegatarian (not cuz i like animals, but cuz i hate vegtables lol). I spend most of my spare time practicing Tae Kwon Do, playing my guitar(acoustic of course), and listening to indie rock.
