Hi! I'm Tiffany and I am a 19 year old college student in Florida. I have had an older accounton advicenators before, and was actually a moderator, but I forgot the password. :(
I believe that there aren't any 'stupid questions' out there and that everyone deserves the right to know whatever it is they want to know. I'm very open minded and like most people, I have underwent my share of tribulations in life. I'm aware that things happen and consequences are unbearable and sometimes people just want to vent about it in frustration of not knowing what to do.

hey guys.

All really prominent schools and universities want a scholarly,analytical topic to be supported by a well-developed thesis. You have to be completely knowledgable about what you are writing, and make your opinions/statements stand out from the thousands of other students.
I understand you are homeschooled and might have a disadvantage over other people that have learned the tricks of the trade but all you need to know is the outlines and structure of how to write an essay, and you can find examples online.
Find a topic that you can argue well. It can be something personal, political, or social.
Right now, I'm writing a topic on how Advertising influences American culture. By using provokative images, slang, appealing people, advertisements can manipulate what consumers do with their money and time. I added my opinions on it and how it affects my life.
With topics such as this, you demonstrate research, experience, and knowledge and put it into a well thought out paper. Colleges love this.
