I want to write a nice song, but everytime I go to write it seems like I just blank out. I want to write a song about how I feel when I'm with my bf, how in love I am with him. But when I put words on paper and read 'em out loud...I fell like it's stupid. :/ Or lame...How can I get started? I'd like to write amazing lyrics like Owl City does, or Lights. Y'know people that have such beautiful music. Anyone able to give advice whom's had experience with song writing and such greatly appreciated! I'm 16 and a girl Oh yeah I play accoustic guitar, and am learning keyboard :P (link)

what i would do is write out some sentences of how i feel when im with him.
like: : "his arm wrapped around me tight" "He made me feel like i can do anhything"
After that just put them together and altar them so they fit.
if that doesn't help you try searching the net for some ideas to help get you started.
