sadie hawkins dance is coming up soon and i already have in mind the guy i want to ask. last year his date didn't dance or talk to him so he kind of got a sucky sadie experience. so i want to be a good date to him and start conversations with him but guys always hang with guys during fast dances and i dont want to interrupt their guy time it just feel awkward and the only time alone i would have with him is when we slow dance. so i was wondering is it weird if you talk during a slow dance or should i just keep my mouth shut.
Always talk during slow dances! Not nonstop kind of talk, but if you don't talk and the music is all quiet, you'll find that it'll seem incredibly awkward rather than the lovey-dovey kind of silence. Bring up stuff about the dance, such as "are you having a good time?" or "ha- i used to love this song! or.. i've never even heard this song! or.." something about the song.. haha. Or you could talk about something funny that happened earlier that day or something. Just be sure that he's into the talking idea. If he's kind of non-responsive, don't just carry on blabbing... Lol. But he'll likely respond and be grateful for the conversation. Best of luck to you! And have fun!
