Okay i am dating this guy, and i mean we are doing fine and everything, hes just younger than me and things.. and my ex boyfriend? we haven't been together since probably last valentines day? and the guy i'm dating we have been together for like a week now.. but my ex is telling me he wishes that he could take that part of his life back where he broke my heart, that he still loves me and he always will and he misses me and he wants to be with me and that im the one for him?
-bad part about it is, he has never said anything like that before to me? so i really don't know if i should give him another chance, or what? i mean i still love him & no matter what i would do anything for him, and he has told me he has changed and his mom even said he has? and he cried over me the other night, and he tells me EVERY day that he means that! except last night, he told me that he will always feel the same way about me, but he just doesn't want to hurt me again or anything, and he wants me and him to be friends and he just dont want to date at the moment, but yet he said he still feels the same and always will no matter what? and for a year straight i always wanted him back, and he never would consider it? but now that i have a boyfriend i think he has finally realized what he wants, or maybe he is just telling me that? i dunno..so what should i do? please helpp me =(
I was in a situation kinda similar to this.. the guy went like months without talking to me and every once in a while id send him a message on facebook or aim or text him and he never responded and then out of no where he texted me and was really really nice to me for like three weeks and i was sooo happy and then he was back to not talking to me again. he just wanted to have sex with me and once he did that he had no use left for me. that sucked and i was really sad about it for along time.
Haha sorry i took up so much space with a story about me when im supposed to be answering your question but i would probably say that this sounds a little suspicious. If you still love him and want it to work than you should try to make it work but dont get too attached to him right away and dont make it too easy for him. He needs to earn your trust back after hurting you. You can start out just being friends and see how that works before you go and end it for no reason with the guy you're currently dating. But I'm sure that since you two have been dating for such a short time, he would understand if you said you still had feelings for your ex.

Thanks alot, that really helps? i mean yeah but yet now we have another problem! since last night he told me he didn't wanna hurt me, that he still felt the same way, but it was better if we was friends? i have tried to talk to him! and he won't reply to my texts or on msn or nothing! and now he really has me VERY CONFUSED.
