I'm female.
My boyfriend of four months and I want to get more intimate.
If he was to try something, would he be turned off if I wasn't completely shaved "down there"?
When I shave in that area, I shave with the direction of the hair. If I shave opposite of that, I'll get really bad razor burn and it'll bleed. I have very sensitive skin.
Do you have any shaving/grooming tips? Thanks! (link)

Nuts to hair removal. Unless you really hate it, don't bother shaving it. Razor burn is the pits to live with on other parts of your body, never mind your genitals.
There are several reasons that pubic hair exists and I'll run you through them:
1. They offer a buffer when you're having sex. Otherwise it's skin to skin (if he's shaving too) and you can experience chaffing. That sucks.
2. It protects your vagina by trapping unwanted debris. Think of nose hairs. Same deal. You're more prone to infection if you remove the hair.
3. It traps your scent. Now, scent is a HUGE deal. If your boyfriend doesn't like your natural vaginal aroma, the relationship is doomed. Half of human attraction is scent based (There's a lengthy scientific explanation. If you look up "scent" and "attraction," you should be able to find it) so you don't want to diminish that by removing the hair.
4. PLENTY of males love pubic hair. Love it. I would be wary of those who need you to shave it. Reasons being they probably watch a lot of porn (Where women are routinely hairless), and hair removal being such a big pain the ass, it'd be rude of them to require it of you.
Trust me, man. Nothing wrong with hair. If it'll help your confidence, trim it up a little. Then remind yourself he's lucky to see you naked in the first place.
