Well, there are two problems with that. One: Around here, i am the only person my age that does what they are supposed to do. Putting myself around bad influences will corrupt my morals for not only now, but the future as well. And two: I get along with no one at my age. My profession requires me to ask mature and mannerly. My teachers and administrators respect that. The students? Not so much. So, that explains why I hang out with older people (with sense). Oh, and me and my partner don't have sex. I believe in abstinence, and he said it was fine with him.

The problem with that is that you're going to go through this same pain every single year then. If you plan to only become friends with people that are five years older than you, you have to understand that they are going to be leaving and you are going to be staying.

I understand that you're mature for your age. I was extremely mature when I was thirteen as well. It's great that you feel as though you're mature. However, it is far from impossible to find mature people that are around or only a couple years older than you.

I understand that people in your grade are probably less mature than you. But you can still find people that act 'mannerly' and are mature. There is no possible way that you are the only thirteen year old in your area that doesn't break laws, party, drink, smoke, do drugs, drop out of school, cut class, etc.. Whatever it is that you're speaking of, I guarantee you're not the only one that does 'what you're supposed to do'.

You just have to scope out people that are getting good grades, staying in class, acting in a mature fashion, etc..

Unless, of course, you want to become friends with the upcoming seniors and feel this exact same pain at this time next year.

It's great that your boyfriend is okay with you being abstinent. It doesn't meant that a long distance relationship would work. But if you think you're prepared for that, go for it.
