I enjoy doing what I can to help people with their problems, whatever they may be.
As an outside viewer, I also try to put myself in your shoes, and that way I can look at the situation from both sides.

I HAD a problem. since i was 12 i started cutting. I dont know how to explain it to people that dont do it becuase its something you have to have gone through to understand. its like a drug i was addicted for 4 1/2 years, slowly killing myself. anyway everyone found out and i had to stop.
the question is like what am i supposed to replace it with. Ive tryed running writing (which is my passion) and everything in between. I just need some good advice as how to stop.
Please help, anything will be appreciated. (link)

You should know that you are worth so much more than what you've been giving yourself credit for. Respect yourself and know that things will get better.
Writing down your feelings and letting it out on paper is great. Getting more hobbies, finding things you like to do, and participating in them will keep your mind occupied.
I've also heard that when you feel like cutting, instead of for example, using your arm and a blade, substitute the paper for flesh and the pencil for the blade. Get things out in a more healthy manner.
Also, if you have some close friends, remember to talk to them and don't keep everything bottled up inside. There are people that have been through very rough times too. You aren't alone.

I love how you said the paper is flesh and the pencil is the blade.
Thank you.
