There's a movie that I really like a lot, except for the fact that a couple of parts are bad. My question: Can I buy it off of iTunes and then edit the bad parts out on my Mac? Or maybe could I buy the DVD, rip it, then edit the bad parts out? I will buy the movie, either way, so the company can get their money, but I just want to edit roughly forty seconds of the entire movie. Does anyone know any way to do that? Any help is much appreciated. (link)

They have a lot of programs that will do stuff like that. I am not sure about a specific one for a mac since i have windows but that is where I would start looking.
