To the Dominican Republic.
I live up in Canada and I just wanted to know what kind of clothing I should bring??
And what other types of things..
Tanning Oil?
Flip flops?
Ect..

Best damn country to vacation. Sorry, just gotta give props to my country. Anyway, it's hot as a MOTHER over there, so you'll be wanting to dress comfortable, and in light colors. The sun is also very strong, so unless you're really pale, you don't really need much tanning oil. And it's not the normal kinda hot, it's very humid, almost to the point where the air feels heavy and oxygen deprived. You'll know what I'm talking about when you first step outside of the airport. You'll be spotted a thousand miles away as a tourist, which is why people will be complete kiss asses =]. I'm guessing you'll be staying at a resort, so you won't be TOO hot, but if for some reason you're not, be aware that sometimes all the power over there leaves for hours at a time, in which case you'll wanna take flashlights and battery powered fans or something. The mosquitoes are KILLER, specially to fresh blood, and repelent isn't really effective. For some reason, tourists think every beach over there is nudist, which is rather unappealing to the locals haha. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your trip =).
