i am 14 (i turn 15 next month) and i just got my period this year. i always used pads but recently i have been using tampax pearl regular tampons. i have three questions:

1. is it normal to feel discomfort while inserting a tampon? i.e. a tiny bit of dull pain.

2. is it normal to feel discomfort while removing a tampon?

3. would it hurt if i used super plus tampons since i just started (and have only used) regular sized tampons?

any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you so much!

1) when you first start using them maybe but it should stop. There should be like instructions on how to insert them in the box. Make sure you're doing it right.

2) Same as one

3) It might hurt but i really would not recommend using the super plus tampons unless you absolutely have to. Like if the regular tampons get soaked too quickly. I've heard that using bigger tampons then you need can be bad for you. I don't know why but i've been told that by like 5 people so yeah.
